In partnership with Minkatsu, Techno System launched a project to convert ingredients that failed to pass standards in each prefecture into new products as part of the “new local cuisine” movement.
Also in partnership with Minkatsu, Techno System launched efforts to revitalize 987 locations throughout Japan through the establishment of disaster prevention bases, supplied with solar-power and seawaterdesalination systems. This project was carried out in tandem with activities to further the “new local cuisine” movement.

When torrential rains struck the city of Aso, Kumamoto Prefecture, Techno System provided and distributed 3,000 meals as well as foodsystem equipment free of charge.
A renewable-energy bill proposed the government purchase of solar energy at a rate of ¥42 per kW (including tax). When the bill was passed into law, Techno System received numerous equipment orders from its customers, including food-supply factories, universities and general enterprises.
