About the SGDs

The United Nations adopted the Sustainable Development Goals in September 2015 in an effort to give countries around the world a set of common objectives to work toward. There are 17 SGDs, including one to “ensure access to water and sanitation for all.” We believe Techno System’s philosophy is aligned with that of the SDGs.

Realizing a sustainable, diverse, and inclusive society that “leaves no one behind”by 2030.

A project aiming to build a role model city with a human-centered society that balances economic development and resolution of social issues through a highly-integrated system of cyber space and physical space (reality) using “AI x IoT x Blockchain x Techno-recirculation System” (Society 5.0). This will act as a pioneering, futuristic city embodying a new economic society that will achieve all 17 SDGs.

In addition to the above concepts, we plan to rely on AI to effectively utilize big data, such as real-time personal measurement data, while developing a crisis-management system that has a security center in order to respond to disasters and crimes.

Starting in the Japanese city of Yokohama, we have begun construction of 15 recycling-based buildings
and plan to expand nationwide.
And, as a continuation, we will initiate the Techno Super City concept with recirculating system to
local governments throughout the country.
With our three core businesses and our partners’ technologies including AI, IoT, and blockchain, the city will fulfill all 17 SDGs.
We strive to bring together partners and promote the SDGs through the Techno Super City concept.
